Dr. Frederick M. McMullan

Dr. Frederick M. McMullan, a native of Baton Rouge, is the co-owner of All Pets Hospital. Dr. McMullan received his BS from Louisiana State University and his doctorate from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. He is a member of Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association (LVMA), Baton Rouge Veterinary Medical Association (BRVMA), American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). His areas of interest include: Small Animal Medicine and surgery, ultrasonography, exotics and reproduction.Dr. McMullan enjoys outdoor activities, lure coursing, music, gardening, traveling, scuba diving, photography and LSU sports. He and his wife, Debbi, enjoy spending time with their four-legged children Mia, Teddy, Bailey, Libby, Jet, Mimi (all whippets) and a rescued boxer named Rocky.

Dr. Elisabeth A. Schmidt

schmidtDr. Elisabeth Schmidt, co-owner of All Pets Hospital, was born and raised in Baton Rouge. She performed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas in Austin and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders. She graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993 and practiced in Austin for two years before returning to Baton Rouge and All Pets Hospital in 1995. She is a member of the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, Baton Rouge Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association and American Association of Feline Practitioners. Her areas of interest include internal medicine and feline medicine.

Dr. Schmidt has an adorable daughter, Leslie Claire. Together they share their home with an ongoing collection of adopted four-footed companions which currently include: Spring (dog); Mr. Dobbins, Audrey, Oscar, and Number 6 (cats).

Besides cleaning litter boxes, Dr. Schmidt’s hobbies include reading, traveling, gardening, outdoor activities and scrap booking.

Dr. Shannon Jarrell

jarrellDr. Shannon Jarrell is a native of Shreveport. Her undergraduate work was completed at Louisiana State University. She received her doctorate on veterinary medicine from LSU in 1998.

She is a member of the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Jarrell and her husband Randy Davidson recently celebrated the arrival of their beautiful daughter, Harper Waverly. They enjoy LSU sports, traveling, and playing tennis.

Dr. Meena Ishikawa

Dr. Meena Ishikawa DVM, MPH was born in Kathmandu, Nepal and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. After graduating from the University of Hawaii with a degree in journalism, she worked in public relations. After her marriage and subsequent move to Little Rock, Arkansas, Dr. Ishikawa worked as a paralegal for many years. During this time she considered going to law school. However, upon the adoption of her first dog Nikko, she decided to pursue a veterinary career. Dr. Ishikawa received her DVM from LSU in 2005 and her Masters Degree in Public Health in 2007 from LSU-HSC. She has traveled extensively through Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and Hong Kong. She hopes to see all of Asia in her lifetime. Her areas of interest include: epidemiology, preventive medicine, and public health. Dr. Ishikawa is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association (LVMA), and Baton Rouge Veterinary Medical Association (BRAVMA). She and her daughter, Maile, share their home with Cassidy, Kaiko, Mochi, Nikko (dogs), Bebe and Gus (cats). Her hobbies include ballroom dancing, knitting, and online window shopping.
